Abstract

In major cities of industrial societies shopping centres are special scenes of post-modern life, where everything is about generating and supplying consumer needs and desires. While drug use is more significant behaviour among regular young shopping mall visitors than among their peers in general, their lifestyle and mentality are examples for peers. Focusing on environmental psychology, sociology of youth and health promotion the book reviews the first Hungarian study on the topic and its prevention perspectives.
